Moulded Foils We have a growing range of molded carbon fibre foils. Regular rudders and centre boards for racing dinghies as well as hydrofoils for maximum speed on the water. All of our foils are molded from computer cut originals and have precise sectional shapes throughout the taper.The molding process uses only pre preg carbon fibre as do aerospace and formula one race cars. This process produces far superior properties than regular methods. (click image to enlarge in new window) Parallel NACA 63412  2100mm x 120mm x 14mm Weight 1.4kg for 2.1m Hydrofoil This foil has proven to be  especially popular for human powered craft but works just as well on small sailing dinghies. It has an oak timber stringer and can be supplied with a hinged trailing edge flap. Parallel NACA 0012 (12%) 120mm x 14.5mm x 2100mm Weight 1.4kg for 2.1m Symetrical Foil (12%) Symetrical foils suitable as support struts for hydrofoils or other, rudders etc. Parallel NACA 66014 (14%) 120mm x 17mm x 1500mm Symetrical Foil (14%) Symetrical foils suitable as support struts for hydrofoils or other, rudders etc. NACA 0011 (11%) 1200mm x 208mm x 23mm Weight 1.5kg Large Blade Suitable as a rudder for performance dinghies 12-18ft. Int 14, cherub etc Or as a centerboard on smaller dinghies such as an Int Moth. It can be supplied as a straight blade for a box and with or without a tiller and integral carbon fibre gudgeons. NACA 0012 (12%) 1000mm x 175mm x 22.5mm Small Blade This small blade is suitable for the Int moth or other small class as a rudder. Available with or without tiller and carbon gudgeons.
